Dance party suggestions

Friday, join us for Opening Night, Escapade’s dance party where we’ll boogie to great dance vids and revisit fandoms of the 60s through the 00s before dipping our toes into the newest of the new. Just vidded The Librarians or the latest season of The Musketeers? Have a great Bucky or Buffy or Blake’s 7 vid to suggest? Let us know in the comments.

We’ll be selecting the show for diversity of fandoms, diversity of vidders, and good musical flow. We’d love to screen some classic vids of the 90s or before (if we can find them and remaster them in time). We’d also love to include some vidders who don’t regularly attend Escapade or VividCon, do Festivids, or otherwise come to the attention of the Escapade audience. Let us know about your old favorites and undiscovered gems! We won’t be able to show every suggestion, but we’ll be tailoring the show to what you guys want to see and dance to. Don’t let your fandom be left out!

We’re looking for already-released vids that are infectiously booty-shaking with big, beautiful, high-quality files suitable for playing through a projector. (But if you’ve got a vidbunny in the works, the Saturday night vidshow welcomes your premieres.)

On older vids...I'd love to see some old B7 ones...Holding out for a Hero or I'd do anything for love but I won't do that...if anyone had good quality copies.
