Roomate needed & How to get to Ventura from LAX

This will be my first Escapade, and I'd much rather have a roomie during the con.  Any takers?

Also, I am extremely confused about the travel options (non-driving) from LAX to Ventura. Does anyone have some suggestions for thriftiness, or is it possible to join in on a shuttle/transport at this late date?

Welcome to Escapade!

I almost always put out a call for a shared shuttle from LAX, and usually get a good handful of people; it is vastly cheaper to be a group, even of only two, than to travel as individuals. But note that I come in on Thursday and go out on Monday -- and may be making a side trip, so one of those legs might not happen. I'll certainly post here for shuttle-sharers when I know my plans!

Other folks also sometimes put out a call, or say they're renting a car and ask if anyone would like to carpool. And if no one invites riders at times that are convenient for you, you can always put out a call yourself; other people may also be on your schedule.
