I didn't realize fanlore was 'live' and, until I looked at it, I didn't realize how much work had gone into it so far.
I've been poking around, reading bits and pieces, and am very amazed. And amused! (The temptation to add to the entry on the RayWars, which I saw only from the sidelines, is strong, but I want to avoid me, too! entries some poor soul will have to delete.)
It seems easy enough to use if you think about what you want to do and read the instructions. (I've never contributed to a wiki before, so my personal learning curve was a bit steep.) I edited my own entry (why am I in there already?) and it was simple. I figured out how to create a new entry, should the need occur. Once you figure it out, it's not much harder than writing a journal entry.
I want everyone to go over and add things, so I don't run out of new material to read! The idea of seeing the history, development, and major incidents of fandom through so many lenses is fascinating.
