I just wanted to take a minute to thank those of you who've donated to the scholarship fund so far. Dawn is incredibly excited to be coming to Escapade for the first time, and we've also extended some assistance to a long-time friend who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend this year (elynross). This wouldn't be possible without these generous folks:

Aral
Bridie
Dine
FAOS
Jim Rondeau
Joyce Muskat
Kadymae/Devilc
KatBear
Killa
M. Fae Glasgow
Melina
mistry89
Nancy Bannister
rhiannonbb
Sandy Herrold
shrift
sinead
Spasticat
Stranger
Tree Wishes

We are still accepting donations, so if you want to contribute, go here:
http://escapadecon.net/escapade-scholarship/
And if you know someone who's struggling to get to the convention, have them drop us a line at info@escapadecon.net. We'll see if we can help.

See you soon!

First, the new method of collecting panel moderators seems to be working! We have only 10 (out of more than 70) panel suggestions with no leaders. That's quite a difference from previous years. Panels with no leaders (yet) have an asterisk following them. If you want to make sure that panel gets on the schedule, maybe you should volunteer?

Second, as of this morning, we've received 45 ballots. That's less than 1/2 of the total membership. The deadline is still a week out (Jan 21), but you don't have to wait until the last minute to vote!
